When you realize nothing is lacking, the whole world
belongs to you.

-Lao Tzu

My Approach

My approach comes from an integration of a tried and true variety of theories and methodologies that ultimately create enough flexibility for me to be your advocate, coach, and psychotherapist.

My work is strongly influenced by family systems theory and Buddhist psychology, having practiced Zen Buddhist meditation for the past 43 years and previously studied to become a Buddhist monk. I also have extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, typically employed during work with people struggling with addictions.

If you are struggling with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Addiction

  • Relationships

  • Work Dissatisfaction

  • Life Direction

  • Sexuality, Gender, LGBTQ+ Issues

My Philosophy

I believe we all have the ability to heal and that ability is already within us, hiding in plain sight; we just need to find it. We will search for it together and you will be amazed at how much you have healed by virtue of your search into yourself! It’s just like removing dark glasses that show a very dim version of the world. When you finally remove them, the light and beauty will bring you to tears. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I welcome clients from all gender identities and sexual orientations.
